Our Fees

How we charge

The early agreement as to the anticipated costs of a matter is essential to us at Armstrong Kutz Lawyers.

A discussion relating to costs is encouraged from the outset of each engagement, as the factors applying to costs vary.

In many cases, we are able to provide a fixed fee quote. In other situations, an hourly rate will apply.

Client Agreement

In accordance with relevant statutory requirements, where appropriate, we will enter into a Client Agreement setting out details of our retainer.

Outlays

Outlays vary from matter to matter and are additional to costs. Outlays include such fees as barrister’s costs and search fees. In most cases we prefer payment of such fees into our trust account.

Tax Invoices

We issue tax invoices at regular intervals during the course of a matter. This ensures our clients are well informed as to costs. We seek payment of our invoices within 7 days.

GST

You will need to add GST to all quotes for costs and disbursements.
